Don't worry if your package is delayed, we pack enough ice for 3 days! When received, please make sure that the product is cool to the touch, if there are any issues please reach out!

We ship nationwide to all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
Do you charge for shipping?
Do I need to be home when my Chop Box delivery arrives?
You do not need to be home. Our product ships in an insulated box with ice packs and can sit outside for several hours without issue.
What is local delivery?
We offer faster shipping and lower free shipping to zip codes surrounding our location. The following locations get next day delivery if ordered Sunday-Thursday and delivery on Monday if ordered on Friday/Saturday. Minimum order and free shipping is $49.

How long do my products last in the fridge?
Your product should have a use or freeze by date.
Why do you ship fresh not frozen?
When meat is frozen, ice crystals develop that result in less moist meat when thawed.

What is the difference between dry-aged and wet-aged beef?
Dry-aging meat is a process that exposes temperature controlled air to the protein for several weeks. This exposure allows enzymes to break down fat and muscle fibers making the meat more tender. It also slowly dehydrates the meat changing the texture as well as providing a richer flavor profile.
Wet-aging meat is another method to break down the muscle fibers making the meat more tender. Utilizing the protein’s own enzymes allows the cell walls to break down offering you a consistent juicy eating experience.
What kind of packaging do you use?
The outer box is cardboard and can be recycled along with the inter climacell wall (bio-based insulation). The cold packs we use can be recycled once the package is cut and the gel contents has been removed. To learn more about our packaging visit the Sustainable Packaging Page.
How do you dispose of the packaging?
The cardboard box and ClimaCell insulation are 100% curbside recyclable. The gel packs are re-usable - put them back in the freezer and use on your next day at the beach or camping trip. If you wish to dispose of the gel packs, once they have melted, cut one corner of the bag and dispose of the contents in the trash. The gel pack bag can then be recycled curbside.
What is your refund policy?
We want to provide you with - The Best Meat You'll Ever Eat - If for any reason we didn't deliver on that, please reach out to us at email@example.com and we will make it right.
If a product package broke during transit or product was received and wasn't cool to the touch, please take a picture a send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For any other issue, please contact us within 10 days of your shipment, and we'll refund all or a portion of your shipment depending on the circumstances.
